Hello! This is my blog site where I like to share the different types of media I like to create, and produce, including all kinds of videos and writing. A lot of it is based, and inspired by some of my favorite things, like shows, movies, comics or books I like to read, or ever something just going on around me.

This is sort of a relaunch, due to a lot of things happening, but I hope to be more proactive when it comes to working on my blog.

Artists Reception at the Burlington Art Center: A Mother-Daughter Event

This was an incredible evening, and I enjoyed it immensely! I got an early jump on the day, and went downtown early, so that I wouldn't be late, and wouldn't have any trouble, but I didn't quite plan everything, so I had to adapt a little. When I got downtown, I was early for the event, but I was to late to eat at a lot of restaurants since they close after lunch, and don't reopen for dinner until 5 pm, which was the reception began. So, I decided to go get a burger at Thyme and Spice , a store and eatery close by. I was incredible and filled me up. I still has some time so I decided to go to my favorite coffee place, The Beancounter, and I got an affogato, which is espresso poured over ice cream or gelato. After that, I went ot the exibit, and it was nice. The artists were a mother and daughter which was awesome! The mother was Kimberlee Rocca, who had these amazing sculptures that were so cool, and some were even hanging, like mobiles. She put together her art install...

Just Another Crazy, Yet Awesome, Moment

A couple of days ago, I had an interested moment when I was about to come home after doing some errands. I was heading back to the bus depot, but I decided to get something cold to drink on the walk there. I ended up getting a large milkshake from my favorite spot, Beancounter. I didn't think I was going to make it there without finishing my Oreo Milkshake, so I ended up taking a different route, enjoying the day. I didn't quite make it to the Port of Burlington, because I was running out of time, but I enjoyed walking near the river, and enjoying the cool air. As I walked back to catch my bus, I made plans to try and actually head to the port next time I got the chance, and I plan to make it next time.

Church Community Coming Together

Our church has worked together to convert an old building in town into our place of worship. We've gotten a lot done, and we've finally been able to go in and have worship, and it looks amazing. The building used to be the old Hawkeye Newspaper, but we were able to buy it and convert it for our church, and when we first saw the building, it looked abandoned, and kind of sad.    Ever since we it got fixed up, we've had worship there, and even potlucks and it feels awesome to have a space just for us now.
