Periods in Time

Certain historical drama series have always fascinated me, mostly because they can tell a story, set in a different time period, so that you can relate to those people. The different fashions, and styles, the different mannerisms, it’s always been intriguing to me, so that I must research more on the history and see what lines up with the facts.

Moving through history, we can see connections between our neighbors, and other countries. We can see how they influenced each other and us, from fashions in France moving through England and the rest of Europe. How the Renaissance remade the whole world. How inventions, and their makers from Europe, and America touched Canada.

Some of the periods that really interest me where creativity in science, and the arts, bringing the world out of the dark, and setting the world on fire, when both men and women were discovering that while the genders were not the same, it was important for everyone to have equal rights, around the world, also during that time, another war was on the brink.
