A lot of this year has gone by very quickly, and sometimes
it’s hard to keep track. We managed to get through some of the harder bits and
come out the other side. Here are a few highlights about the end of the year.
Right before the cold set, I was able to go the artist’s
reception at the Art Center here in Burlington. It was such an incredible
night. I got an early jump on the day and went downtown, had something to eat,
then went to the event. It was amazing, I got to meet the artists and hear
their stories.
After that, I was surviving the winter and preparing for the
new year. There has been a little bit of snow, but it’s been mostly really
windy and rainy. I’ve been contemplating how to evacuate in case of an
emergency, like flood or even a tornado.
One thing that I have been thinking about is a car for my
mom and myself. I would like something that has the ability to drive off road
just in case. Mostly thought, it would be great for shopping or doing stuff
around town, plus mom wouldn’t have to worry about getting to work on time.
This year I would like to do more in the spring and summer.
I already have plans with my family to exercise and go to more events at the
art center. I’m also hoping that we can take more day trips once we do get a
car a lot of good stuff to come, I hope.
